Express has partnered with a major contractor for a huge construction project located in Taylor, TX and we are currently in search of a highly skilled Electrical Drafter who excels in transforming engineering sketches and concepts into professional AutoCAD drawings. In addition to having expertise in Revit and Navisworks to join a dynamic and innovative team. 

As an Electrical Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the design and documentation of electrical systems for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical drafting, proficiency in utilizing Revit for building information modeling (BIM), and experience in Navisworks (Clash Detection Tool) to ensure seamless coordination of electrical systems within the overall project. The role involves using CAD software to update drawings for a range of electrical systems, encompassing both high and low voltage as well as commercial and industrial power distribution systems.

Responsibilities:
•    Collaborate with electrical engineers and project managers to develop detailed electrical drawings and plans.
•    Create accurate and comprehensive electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using industry-standard software, with a primary focus on Revit.
•    Utilize Revit for 3D modeling and BIM to create intelligent, data-rich electrical models.
•    Ensure the integration of electrical systems with other disciplines within the BIM environment to facilitate coordination and clash detection.
•    Conduct clash detection analysis using Navisworks to identify and resolve potential clashes between electrical systems and other building components.
•    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address and resolve clashes, ensuring the smooth integration of electrical systems within the overall project.
•    Transform engineering sketches and concepts into precise AutoCAD drawings for various electrical systems.
•    Organize and compile design drawing submittals and construction drawing packages for project review and approval.
•    Update as-built AutoCAD drawings and 3D models based on red-lines provided by electricians and project managers.
•    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AutoCAD standards and best practices for electrical drafting.
•    Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of electrical drawings to meet project requirements and industry standards.
•    Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings to address feedback and ensure alignment with project goals.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an Electrical Drafter with a focus on Revit modeling and Navisworks (Clash Detection tool).
•    Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting tasks.
•    In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and drafting standards.
•    Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling and coordination.
•    Experience with Navisworks for clash detection required.
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
•    Ability to identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues proactively.
