Tool and Die Maker
Located in Walker, MI
Salary: $28-34/HR, BOE + 10% Premium
Tool & Die Maker Job Summary: A highly innovative multi-state organization is looking to add an experienced Tool and Die Maker who enjoys a high-paced work environment to their team. This position offers an opportunity to work with a variety of types of projects, industries, automation systems, and customers!
Tool & Die Maker Requirements:
- Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading
- Die construction and Tryout
- Follow ISO Requirements
- Train apprentices
- Assist design team with engineering changes
- Operate a Hilo and overhead crane per our safety policies
- Provide continuous communication with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Proven proficiency in build/assembly and tryout skills in progressive, line and/or transfer dies
Schedule & Pay:
- 3rd Shift 4:00PM - 2:30AM Monday – Friday with additional overtime as required
- $28-34/HR, Based on Experience + 10% Shift Premium
Tool & Die Maker Qualifications:
- Journeyman Certificate
- Strong Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively, invent solutions, and work around problems
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Self-directed and reliable
- Willing to assist and support other areas as needed
