CNC Machinist
Located in Walker, MI
Salary: $23-30/HR + 10% Premium, BOE
CNC Machinist Job Summary: A highly innovative multi-state organization is looking to add an experienced CNC Machinist who enjoys a high-paced work environment to its team. This position offers an opportunity to work with a variety of types of projects, industries, automation systems, and customers!
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Program mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, and offsets
- Regularly perform milling, drilling, and tapping tasks
- Attend to machines while they execute tasks and programs and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
- Previous machining experience with large CNC mills, WorkNC experience a plus
- Programming and controls experience is required
Schedule & Pay:
- 3rd Shift 4:00PM - 2:30AM Monday – Friday with additional overtime as required
- $23-30/HR, Based on Experience + 10% Shift Premium
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-starter
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to work cooperatively and jointly within a team to provide quality products
- Comfortable with calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
- Comfortable with CAD CAM Programming
- Manual machining, CNC programming/operation
