Job Overview:

A local family-owned construction company specializing in glass work is seeking a front Office Administrator. In this role you would be communicating with external companies by phone and email to intake work orders, enter tickets into our tracking software, and provide them with excellent customer experience. The daily responsibilities of the Office Administrator include professional phone and email correspondence, creating work orders, entering tickets into computer software, data entry from physical documents. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong professional customer service presence, computer literacy and typing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Answer phone calls and email correspondence to ensure high-quality customer service.

·        Intake work orders and enter work tickets into our tracking software.

·        Manage calendars and job scheduling.

·        Data entry of written or physical documents as needed, ex: proposals.

·        Serve as the work intake liaison between external clients and internal departments.

·        Other administrative duties as needed, ex: filing, scanning, copying, and faxing.

Qualifications:

·        Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

·        Experienced with client/ticket tracking software, or CRM software.

·        Computer literacy with Windows OS, typing speed at least 35wpm.

·        Excellent customer service skills.

·        Ability to multitask while maintaining organization.

·        Self-organized and diligent time management.

·        Ability to work in a smaller, family-scale office operation.

·        Experience working in construction or other service-based industry is a plus.
