Robot Programmer Job Summary:
A growing manufacturer in Grand Rapids is seeking a 1st shift Robot Programmer to join its team.
Robot Programmer Requirements:
- Create and modify Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, and Epson programs while maintaining necessary parameters.
- Install and troubleshoot robots in complex automation systems.
- Read blueprints and work orders to understand the job to be completed.
- Set up and verify error-proofing.
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm,
Pay: $25-$32/hr, based on experience
Robotic Weld Programmer Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-7 years of field experience in robotics.
- Robot programming capability in Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, and Epson is preferred.
- Experience programming robots for MIG welding, resistance (spot) welding, and material handling is required.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and machine control systems is preferred.
- Experience with starting up a new robot, full robot i/o configuration, simulation software, loading programs, diagnosing errors/faults, as well as path programming is required.
- Must have the ability to travel for installations.
