Lighting Controls Technician (Electronics)

Located in Ottawa, ON

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000

Due to recent growth, our client located in the West End, is currently looking for a Lighting Controls Technician (Electronics) to join their team. If you have the education and are looking to gain experience, we want to hear from you.

This is a in-field position with most of the time spent at client sites where the equipment is being installed rather than in the company office at a desk.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in electronics, mechanical systems, or similar field
• Experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry as asset
• Proficiency in English and French
• Intermediate computer knowledge (network, software, hardware)
• Ability to work independently/in a team

Duties may include but are limited to:

• Lighting controls panel programming and commissioning
• Issuing service calls, including system diagnostic and trouble shooting
• Reviewing plans and specifications
• Lighting control system proposals
• Maintenance contracts
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Monday – Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm – Fridays 8:00am – 3:30pm

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year depending on experience
