Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Role Overview: As a Press Brake Operator, you''ll play a pivotal role in the metal fabrication process by accurately setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal workpieces. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Machine Setup and Preparation:

    • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand bending requirements.
    • Set up press brake machines by installing and aligning necessary tooling and dies.
    • Program machine settings based on specifications, including material type, thickness, and bend angles.
  2. Operation and Monitoring:

    • Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal according to specified dimensions and tolerances.
    • Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, adjusting settings as needed for precise bends.
    • Conduct test runs to verify the accuracy of machine setups and make necessary adjustments.
  3. Quality Control:

    • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
    • Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers to ensure precise dimensions.
    • Identify and address any issues or defects in the finished products.
  4. Maintenance and Safety:
