Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager

Location: Tyler TX

Responsibilities

· Closely evaluate each individual insured's needs and recommend adequate coverages and services.
· Use online Rapid Rater and other carrier online quoting systems to quote new business as well as remarket renewal business.
· Communicate with carrier underwriters when working on new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
· Keep clients' accounts updated, well documented, and organized on agency management system.
· Remain up to date on all carriers products, coverages, and services available to the clients.
· Effectively manage desk and workflow everyday getting quotes and endorsements processed in a timely manner.
· Communicate with insured and carriers claims departments in the event of a claim.
Utilize Epic system for processing all transactions and updating client records.

Qualifications:

Preferred experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager in the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of commercial or personal insurance products, coverages, and policy terms.
Proficient in using Epic or similar insurance management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Education and Certifications:

3+ years of experience in insurance service and sales for personal lines
minimum high school education
Excellent telephone communication skills
Knowledge of the AMS360 agency processing system preferred but not required
Effective and persuasive communication skills to explain the facts and logic used to arrive at decisions in a way that the insured understands
PC skills experience with agency management systems and company-based programs
