Duties:
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Recording financial transactions in accounting software
- Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Generating financial reports for management review
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conducting account analysis and providing recommendations for improvement
- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and account analysis
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related tax requirements
- Previous experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data
