Salary: $19-22 per hour

We are seeking detail-oriented individuals for one of our clients based in Mississauga as a Production Worker/Machine Operator role. 

The successful candidates will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating various machines and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality parts. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Operate cutting tools, rollers, and welding equipment for the production of parts.
• Set up and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
• Minimize scrap production through careful setup and job performance.
• Assist in packaging and shipping as required.
• Ensure all parts meet specified quality standards.
• Report equipment problems or concerns promptly.
• Report any observed unsafe work conditions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
• Follow plant safety rules and guidelines.
• Only operate equipment on which training has been provided and feel confident in doing so safely.

Requirements:

• Previous machine operating experience.
• 2 years of experience in Fabrication.
• Welding experience is considered an asset.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Unwavering commitment to punctuality and attendance.
• Quick learner and self-starter.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and numerical reasoning skills/aptitude.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
