Manual Machinist – Baton Rouge

EVALUATION HIRE

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

Pay $20-25 / hr + to start DOE 

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking a reliable and hard working Manual Machinist for a local client in East Baton Rouge Parish.  The primary responsibility will be machining tubing and material for medical supplies.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Manual Machinist: 

• Effectively Operate Manual Lathes and Manual Mills
• Moving between mills and lathes to produce the needed product at each machine 
• Run, and Troubleshoot machine
• Must be able and Willing to move around to different machines 
• Other Tasks may be required

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Teamwork Orientation with organizational skills and basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• CNC machining experience a plus but not required
• Past experience on Bridgeport Machines is a plus
