Electronic Technician 

 

1st Shift Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

$16.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience

 

Job Description: Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair new electronic product and field returns. Work with engineering and operations team to help develop and improve test efficiency and coverage with cost effective solutions. Multi-task to effectively balance production support and assigned projects in order to maintain customer satisfaction with quality as the highest priority.

 

 Primary Responsibilities

• • Set-up, Test, troubleshoot and repair new products
  • Repair and refurbish field returns
  • Assemble and test module level product, including wiring, harness assembly and mechanical assembly
  • Maintain test records
  • Assemble test equipment as needed
  • Communicate with the Engineering Team in a professional manner
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Skills

 

• Associates degree in the electronics field or proven related experience
• Ability to interpret electronics schematics, BOMs and assembly prints in order to  make recommendations for improvement.
• Skilled at troubleshooting circuits to the component level 
• Understanding of micro-controller programming
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills applicable to all levels in the organization
