Extruder Operator - 3rd shift

Express Employment Brighton/Howell is assisting a client in Brighton, MI that is looking for Extruder Machine Operators. This client is know for the semi-truck mud flaps logo presses. They are looking for multiple associates to work on 3rd shift. Willing to train and have room of growth. This is a contract to hire role.

Candidate must complete training for the first week from 7am - 3:30pm and start 3rd shift the following week.

Job Duties Include:
- Starting up extruder, monitoring material flow & adjusting equipment for production.
- Making extraction process adjustments to control sheet output.
- Setting up cooling equipment systems and making required adjustments.
- Use forklift to transport materials to line and finished product to storage.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain a clean work space.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

3rd shift: 8pm - 6:30am; Monday to Thursday with Friday's needed for mandatory overtime

Pay rate: $18.00 plus a $1.50 shift premium after completing training. $18.00 during training week.

Requirements:
- Own transportation as its not bus line friendly
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable to stand 10-12 hour shift
- Work in a fast pace environment & team environment
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Machine operator experience or related field.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Prior background working with plastics, production machinery, and profiled extrusion & sheet line experience.
