This position can be a full-time or a part-time opportunity!

• Full Time: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Part Time: Monday - Friday hours between 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • 5-6 hours/day depending on needs
• $17/hour

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components according to blueprints & work instructions. A successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background to help build, test, & inspect power winches, reducers, & rigging equipment that will be used in a variety of applications such as mines, construction, barge sites, & theaters.

Job Duties:

• Assemble product according to blueprints, ensuring that parts are manufactured correctly & fit properly when putting product together.
  • Assemble & set gears
  • Square up fitments to press seals & bearings
  • Setting brakes on the gear
  • Tapping threads
  • Checking seals & looking for oil leaks
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring (knowledge of pneumatics is a plus)
• Must have ability to problem solve & trouble shoot problems both independently & part of a team
• Must have knowledge & ability to use a variety of hand & power tools
• Ensure that parts/products meet quality standards by following guidelines to measure, test, & inspect the product
• Manage inventory 
  • Labeling & locating parts
  • Picking parts to fill kits or bins
  • Delivering parts to work areas
  • Recording & communicating inventory levels
