A great manufacturing company in the Pottsville/Atkins area is hiring multiple MIG Welders!!

Job Description:

• Work in the warehouse as needed for production operations.
• Examine blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements for layouts and procedures
• Complete projects that match the client’s specifications.
• Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on project requirements.
• Prepare parts that must be welded, and align components using calipers, rulers, and clamp pieces.
• Measuring and cutting steel structures as needed.
• Positioning steel using cranes and hoisting methods.
• Running machines in the shop.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Keeping the shop and work area clean.
• Load, unload, and provide support as needed.
• Other duties as needed or assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Previous MIG Welding experience required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare, read, and interpret blueprints, reports, instructions, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment, cranes, and forklifts.
• Be able to read a tape measure fluently.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Must be willing to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the day.
• This position requires bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must meet prescreening requirements.
