The position involves a range of responsibilities, including preparing and hanging parts for coating, wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment, setting up and maintaining equipment, applying coatings based on specifications and customer requirements, removing and dispersing coated products, packaging parts for shipment, making minor defect corrections, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring adherence to company rules, policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. The role requires the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and focus on tasks. Effective communication with team members and management is essential, as is the willingness to be a team player and undertake additional duties as needed. The position involves fluidized bed powder coating, requiring the immersion of hot parts into a powder bed to create a continuous coating. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, stand for extended periods, work near a 650°F oven, and accurately count parts. While prior powder coating experience is preferred, a positive and professional attitude is crucial. The pay rate is negotiable and dependent on experience.
