Job Summary:

The Order Selector is responsible for selecting and preparing cases of beverages and related products for shipment from a warehouse. This role ensures accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment, while following safety and legal regulations regarding the handling of glass bottles.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret order tickets or electronic pick lists

• Select correct items from warehouse stock

• Use pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment to move heavy products

• Stack and secure items on pallets in proper order

• Label and prepare pallets for shipping

• Ensure product accuracy, quality, and compliance with alcohol regulations

• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation (first-in, first-out)

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

• Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents

• Work as part of a team to meet productivity goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior warehouse or order-picking experience preferred

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly

• Familiarity with warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred

• Basic math and reading skills

• Must be eligible to handle and work around alcohol

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Work Conditions:

• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures

• Fast-paced, physically demanding role

• May involve standing, lifting, and bending for long periods
