Salary: $19.00-$21.00

Express is looking for safe, reliable, skilled, and smart-working individuals for a yard Jockey/Spotter in the Beardstown Area. 

RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Moving trailers (full or empty) to and from dock doors
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and warehouse management to coordinate the movement of trailers in and out of the loading docks.
• Maintain daily yard check to account for all Trailers and their contents.
• Must adhere to all safe driving practices.
• Must keep pedestrians/co-workers’ safety their major priority.
• Report any tractor/trailer issues (i.e., damage, mechanical repairs) to management.
• Keeping the yard orderly
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Attendance and safety are essential.
• Prior experience as a spotter truck driver or over-the-road truck driving experience is required.
• Ability to sit, bend, climb, and lift for 8/10/12 hours per day.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• Mandatory Overtime
• Great written and oral communication skills

Shifts- Days, Nights, Weekends    40 hours+
