Our client is searching for an Integrated Day Services Specialist who will be assisting participants with disabilities in achieving agreed upon individual program goals that move him/her to the next level of independence. Typically, the program offers a 5 to 1 ratio of associate to person they are helping.

Duties include creating and designing crafts and projects that allow for skills development for the participants. Assistance with feeding and other day-to-day personal functions may be required. This position is temp to hire and comes with a pay raise and excellent benefits upon hire.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with mentally handicapped adults, or have CNA experience or equivalent. Must be bondable and have the strong desire to help people. Basic computer skills including MS Word, Exel, and internet. Ability and willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions.

Gradually will be asked to assist in taking field trips in the company vehicles; must have good driving record. Ability to lift up to 50lbs; ability to push/pull up to 200lbs. Must be in good physical condition; must be able to bend, crouch, balance, walk, kneel, twist, and sit throughout the day. This is a temp to hire position and the hours are Monday - Friday 1st shift.
