Express Employment Professionals is urgently looking for a full-time Class 3 Vacuum Truck Operator on behalf of an oilfield company in Cochrane, AB.
As a Class 3 Vacuum Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in safely and efficiently transporting and managing various fluids, including water, waste, and other materials in the oil field. This position requires a Class 3 commercial driver's license (CDL) with the necessary endorsements, a strong commitment to safety, and a professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain a Class 3 vacuum truck for the collection, transportation, and disposal of fluids in compliance with all regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
- Follow established routes, schedules, and instructions for pickups and deliveries at various oil field sites.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including mileage, hours worked, and materials transported.
- Operate equipment for loading and unloading fluids, adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations to prevent accidents and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and on-site personnel.
- Assist in other related duties as required, such as general maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the necessary endorsements.
- Clean 5 year commercial driver's abstract with no more than 5 demerits
- Valid H2S Alive Certification
- Valid First Aid Certification
- TDG and WHMIS preferred
- Previous experience as a vacuum truck driver in the oil field industry is required.
- Knowledge of vacuum truck equipment and operation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends as required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
