Salary: 19.00/Hour

Our local Plymouth client is looking for Set-Up Technicians! You must be able to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift hours and train on 1st shift. 

 

As a Set-Up Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, tearing down, and maintenance of extrusion tooling and downstream equipment. You will also complete important tasks such as producing and inspecting products following given work instructions.

 

Other duties include: 

• Knowledge of identification, processing characteristics, and regrind system of plastics material.
• Following extrusion sheets and work instructions.
• Complete extrusion dimensional charts and documentation.
• Using inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot extrusion problems and assisting other extrusion lines.
• General housekeeping of plant and maintenance of equipment. 

 

Position requirements:

• Previous skill and background in plastics is a MUST.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a full range of motion to sit, stand, reach, and move throughout the entire shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year of prior experience preferred.
