Located in Grand Rapids, MI

Salary: $17/HR-$18/HR

Mechanical Assembler Job Summary: An International company who is the largest producer of hydraulic power units in North America and a major supplier of hydraulic power units, pumps and valve controls in Europe is looking for an assembler.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts for hydraulic motors
• Read work orders to produce the correct product
• Use power tools to put pieces together
• Ability to assemble different types of product throughout the day
• Ability to work at a fast pace while being accurate
• Testing fully assembled power units
• Label, scan and inspect fully assembled units
• Package hydraulic motors for shipment
• Read and follow blueprints for assembly

Schedule & Pay: 

• 1st shift & 2nd shift openings
• $17/HR-$18/HR

Mechanical Assembler Qualifications:

• Two years in heavy assembly is preferred
• Previous blueprint reading experience is preferred
• Working with air tools and have excellent assembly skills and inspection skills
• High mechanical aptitude is required
• Reliable and excellent attendance
