Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Job Duties
-Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems- Conduct inspections to identify any issues or potential problems- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems- Use power tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks- Perform tire services, including rotation, balancing, and replacement- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify and resolve issues- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
Experience- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment for repairs- Experience with HVAC systems in vehicles is a plus- Familiarity with tractor-trailers and heavy equipment repair is preferred- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques- Ability to work independently and efficiently
