Warehouse/Forklift $16-$17.50/HR

Located in Kaukauna, WI

Salary: $16-$17.50/HR

Hours: Monday-Friday 12:30am-9am

Pay: $16-$17.50/HR

*Once hired on- $1.50 raise for midnight shift*

Duties: 

• Stand on the trailer to safely unhook the lift when the crane operator brings it to the truck. Ensure proper communication with the crane operator.
• Ensure that materials are properly blocked to prevent shifting during transportation.
• Inspect the material to ensure it is securely and tightly fastened together, preventing any potential hazards during transit.
• Double-check that there are an adequate number of blocks on the trailer to support and secure the materials.
• Communicate effectively with the crane operator to ensure materials are set down in the correct location on the truck.
• Locate scanned products and transport them to the loading racks. Organize and prepare them for loading onto trucks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in the process.

Qualifications: 

• Possess a strong physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, crouching, pushing/pulling, and standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Prior experience with forklift operation is preferred. This includes the ability to operate the forklift safely and efficiently in a warehouse or loading/unloading environment.
• The work environment may involve exposure to dust, gas, or fumes. Candidates should be comfortable working in such conditions and may need to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Adaptable to varying weather conditions and be prepared for potential fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
