TINT SPECIALIST FOR PLASTER, STUCCO AND PAINT

As a Tint Specialist, you will work with assorted materials and color match for customers.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to running, operating, and maintaining all tint equipment. Color matching, pulling, mixing, and packaging paint products as well as maintaining supplies and inventory for the color department.

Specific duties include:

• Utilizing a computer-operated machine for dispensing various pigments
• Running & operating all paint equipment & software programs effectively including, tinters, shakers, and any other equipment designated for Tint Fulfillment.
• Effectively meeting customers color matching needs
• Following all applicable safety rules and procedures
• Providing color samples for customers
• Spread samples of material using a plaster trowel
• Maintaining all products in a quality and marketable condition
• Working independently and efficiently
• Color matching materials by sight
• Maintain a clean, safe working station.

Specific qualifications include:

• Minimum 1 year of mixing paints, plasters, powders, and color matching.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70lbs consistently.
• Previous work in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to interact and serve customers.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours and required overtime, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
• Must be able to tint paint; therefore, must be able to distinguish the difference between colors.
• Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
• Spanish a plus

Benefits may include:

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE
