Electronics / Mechanical Assembler

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour

Our client, a large manufacturer located in the South End, is currently looking at hiring Electronics/Mechanical Assemblers to join their team.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Safety conscious
• Experience in a similar position (Manufacturing/Production Labourer, Assembler, Electronic /Mechanical Assembler, etc.)
• Ability to understand English instructions
• Ability to work independently/in a team
• Capable of lifting up to 40lbs (lifting a box of finished products after assembly)
• Previous experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, rivet guns, etc.)
• Must have a vehicle to work overnights as it is not accessible by public transit
• Electro-Mechanical Diploma

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Use various small hand tools to assemble products (screwdrivers, drills, rivet guns, etc.)
• Assemble the electronic and mechanical components for charging stations
• Test electro-mechanical components to ensure proper functionality
• Pack parts for shipment
• Organize workstation
• Lift up to 40lbs
• Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

The wage for these positions range from:

Days and Evenings - $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience and shift

Schedules:

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm OR Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am
