Salary: $18-$20/hr.

Express Employment of Long Beach is recruiting an receptionist for a local property management company.  Potential for long term hire with great company.  

POSITION – Receptionist / Front Office 
LOCATION:  Long Beach, CA
RATE: $18-$20/hr. Based on Experience  

Work Schedule:  Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm

Summary 
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, fax distribution, flow of email correspondence, filing paperwork, handle walk in traffic and other duties as needed.

Essential Functions
Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.

Greets and directs walk in traffic.

Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.

Assists with other related clerical duties such as data entry, photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.

Professional interaction with all clients, visitors, etc.

Competencies

Microsoft suite including Office, Excel, etc.

Solid typing skills

Ability to handle up to 6 phone lines

Previous experience working for property management company

AppFolio experience is a plus

Flexibility, Communication Proficiency, Collaboration Skills, Customer/Client Focus

Required Education and Experience 
HS diploma or GED

One year of administrative experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Associate’s degree.

Two years of related experience.

Property management experience is a plus.
