Position Needed:    Laser Operator

Start Date:      ASAP

Pay:               $14 per hour, depending on experience.

Assignment:  Temporary to permanent.

Shift:               1^st shift: 6am – 4pm Monday – Thursday

Duties may include the following:

• Set up, maintain, and operate laser
• Perform typical laser cutting and welding operations.
• Plan sequence of operations and review blueprints to ensure precision.
• Select proper cutting and welding programs and proper fixtures.
• Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting and welding operations.
• Perform all dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• May work at different workstations as production needs require.

Skills Needed:          

• Attention to detail
• Mechanical and technical skills
• Physical ability and endurance to stand and bend over a long period of time
• Stamina working long hours doing repetitive movements
• Possess the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
