A local Troutdale company is searching for a Mechanic who will have core responsibilities in assisting with brake and transmission changes, learning to swap out refrigeration parts, and assisting within the shop. This position is a vital role within the company, working on a variety of semi-truck types, including building, and assembling mechanical components, repairing common mechanical issues in trucks, and running diagnostic tests to discover potential issues. Our Mechanic will most often work independently but will occasionally be expected to work well in a team setting on major projects.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

 

Pay Rate: $23.00/HR+

 

What we look for:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Aptitude in various hand tools
• Mechanically inclined
• Good communication skills
