We are looking for a reliable Engine Machinist to join our client’s team! Willing to train the right candidate!

This is a 1^st shift position and pay is based on experience.

Job Duties:

Cylinder Head Repair: surfacing, seat and guide replacement, multi angle valve jobs, resurfacing valves, setting stem heights.
Engine Block Machining: cylinder boring, cylinder honing, align boring, block surfacing
Engine Assembly: installing, crankshafts, camshafts, pistons, rings, rods, gaskets, pre-lube.
Magnafluxing, pressure testing, disassembly/assembly, and cleaning of heads and blocks
Prepping Engine blocks for high performance parts such as billet main caps and girdle plates
Other duties as assigned.

Engine Machinist Requirements:

Technical degree or 1 + years of experience in a fast paced machine shop.
Ability to efficiently use a computer, and use word processing software.
Ability to read Blue prints.
Positive attitude and willingness to operate in a dynamic environment and team structure.
Ability to perform physical work for extended periods of time.
Well organized and strong verbal communication skills
