Our client, a Demolition contractor based in Detroit, is seeking a Senior Estimator to act as client liaison, Bid jobs, and create and deliver proposals to current and potential clients. Demolition estimation experience is required along with the ability to read blueprints, computer software knowledge and excellent math skills. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
- Conduct site visits and gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates
- Analyze and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Prepare bid packages and submit bids to clients
- Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction process
- Provide guidance and support to junior estimators
Pay: $90K+/Annually Based on Experience
