Express Employment Professionals has a client that is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Diesel Mechanics in the Albany, NY area. If you're passionate about maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles, we want you.

Job Type: Full time

Pay Rate: $27 - $35/hourly

Benefits: 

• Overtime Holiday Pay(including birthdays)

• Paid Vacation:7 days after first year and increased during the length of employment.
• 401k with 5% company match after 90days
• Tool Allowance of $200 annually along with Toolbox and Tool Insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts in-house diagnostics and repairs, including major repair, overhaul, and failure analysis of all components.
• Fabricates panels and rails, designs and lays out dimensions, and carries out general responsibilities of a Body Technician Class A.
• Proficient in welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
• Proficient with the tools, machinery, and testing equipment required for all job classifications and related duties.
• Assists other classifications as necessary for ongoing training and is capable of performing duties across all classifications.

Qualifications:

• Master Diesel Technician preferred.
• 3-5 years' prior diesel mechanic and repair technician experience(motorcoach, school bus and heavy equipment).
• Must have own basic tools.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable Transportation.

Schedule Options:

Monday - Friday, 7:00am -3:00pm

Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am
