Shop Foreman

Located in Russellville, AR

Salary: $25 + DOE

A local company in Russellville is looking to hire a Shop Foreman! 

• Can you lead teams of people in a shop environment?
• Can you encourage other people to get things done?
• Are you a good listener who can give clear instructions and manage conflict?
• Do you hold a construction trade ticket or have extensive shop experience? 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM

Job Duties:

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction workers.
• Train workers in job duties.
• Prepare work progress reports.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with subcontractors.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Enforce safety regulations and protocols.
• Conduct performance reviews with staff.
• Meet with management to deliver feedback and develop work optimization strategies.
• Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as updating and filing equipment orders, stock receipts, and staff schedules.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of work experience as a Shop Foreman or similar role.
• Previous construction, millwright, or related experience is required.
• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop.
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Must be able to provide leadership and direction
• Time management, dependability, reliability.
• Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings.
