The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Direct Hire Accounting Specialist for a top-class distribution company in Columbus, IN.

 

Job Summary:

• Internal and external communication to solve accounting related issues
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Work with a Tax consultant for annual corporate tax return
• Leading accounting team through accounting audit
• Prepare journal entries and financial statements

 

Pay/Benefits:

• Direct Hire, $65k
• Medical, dental, vision insurance
• 401K match
• Paid holidays + paid vacation

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

 

Requirements:

• Associate degree in accounting

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• 5+ years of experience in an accounting role, or similar
• Prior experience with Accounting Audit, tax return, and preparing financial statements
• Excel (Pivot table, Basic formulas, VLOOKUP, IFS)

• Flexibility
