Our Pickering client, a leading international manufacturer and distributor, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage Warehouse Operations ensuring all materials are supplies and delivered on time
• Manage and lead a team of 25 direct employees including onboarding, training and monitoring performance
• Conduct daily meetings with staff and lead daily, weekly and monthly rolling inspections for safety equipment
• Perform daily reporting tasks, including receiving reports, reconciling reports, and tracking incomplete time sheets
• Monitor, collect data, and maintain daily warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Develop and improve inbound quality control, track documentation, audit feedback and improvements within Warehouse
• Ensure proper maintenance and repairs are conducted for material handling equipment when necessary
• Provide support to the finance and purchasing departments
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 years of Warehouse Supervisory experience
• 5 years of Forklift Operation experience
• Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance, Raymond Reach and Order Picker)
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety Policies
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Excellent organization, problem solving and attention to detail skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good Time Management skills, self-motivated and self-directed

Bonus Qualifications:

• Proficient in using AS400 (asset)
• Ability to handle a variety of high-pressure situations and work independently

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 3:30pm to 12:00am
• Shift Premium: $2 per hour after 8:00pm
• Flexibility to work all shifts within Warehouse and overtime (if needed)
• Salary: $70,000 to $73,000 per annum (based on experience)
