Position: Facility Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $16 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in general facility maintenance and landscaping. This role involves various tasks related to the care of grounds, as well as other maintenance responsibilities within our facility. 

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks common to the care of grounds.

2. Replace ceiling tiles and light bulbs as needed.

3. Have knowledge of the proper use and disposal of chemicals used in groundskeeping activities.

4. Understand and follow written work orders and instructions, as well as directions provided by supervisors.

5. Demonstrate excellent teamwork and customer service skills while interacting with fellow team members and facility occupants.

6. Assist with the repair and maintenance of plumbing systems, painting projects, furniture installations, and other ad-hoc maintenance tasks.

7. Be a self-starter and proactive team member who takes initiative to address maintenance issues as they arise.

8. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and participants in a potentially high-stress environment while working collaboratively within a team.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in general facility maintenance and landscaping.

• Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques and chemicals.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, and furniture assembly.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
