Forklift Operator

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00+

Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find local talent. We are currently recruiting for Forklift Operators for our clients located in Charlotte, NC.

Pay is $15.00 - $18.00 + /hr. depending on client, experience, location, and shifts.

Ability to operate multiple lifts (sit down, stand up, cherry picker, reach lift).

8- and 12-hour shifts are available, some may have OT.

Responsibilities for a Forklift Operator:

• Pick orders off racks in the warehouse
• Accurately pull orders using the RF scanners and paper.
• Deliver pallets/product to desired locations.
• Shipping Receiving
• Loading unloading trucks
• Heavy lifting will be required.
• Some warehouse work is required (up to 50%)

Requirements of a Forklift Operator:

• 1 - 2 years experience with the cherry picker, sit, stand and reach lifts.
• *Attention to detail
• Safety minded
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to move/lift 50 lbs. consistently.
