We seek a dynamic and customer-focused Residential Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leasing activities, maintaining tenant relations, and ensuring residents' overall satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leasing Operations:

    • Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and amenities.
    • Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing detailed information about the property and available units.
    • Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and follow up with applicants to communicate leasing decisions.
  2. Customer Relations:

    • Foster positive relationships with current and prospective tenants to enhance overall resident satisfaction.
    • Address resident concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring high customer service.
    • Coordinate and conduct resident events to build a sense of community within the property.
  3. Lease Administration:

    • Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leasing activities, resident communications, and lease agreements.
    • Assist with move-in and move-out procedures, conducting inspections, and documenting unit conditions.
  4. Market Analysis:

    • Stay informed about market trends, rental rates, and competitor activities to provide recommendations for pricing and promotions.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective advertising strategies to attract and retain tenants.
  5. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with property management, maintenance, and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations.
    • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
    • Previous experience in residential leasing, property management, or real estate is preferred.
  2. Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  3. License:

    • Depending on local regulations, a Real Estate license (or willingness to obtain one) may be required.
  4. Flexibility:

    • Willingness to work weekends or evenings as needed to accommodate prospective tenants' schedules.
