Welder ($720 to $820 per week + OT, Paid Weekly)

Located in Akron, OH

Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour DOE

 

Our client companies in Akron and Cuyahoga Falls are seeking experienced welders for first and second shift who will have core responsibilities on their production and fabrication teams. These positions are critical to the production of quality, large-scale manufacturing equipment shipped worldwide. As a welder you will:

• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together according to blueprints, written processes, and verbal instructions.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for final welding.
• Inspect finished weldments to ensure welds confirm to print specifications, and
• Maintain a safe workplace by cleaning work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

 

Welder position highlights:

• Pay starts at $18.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience ($720 to $820 per week + OT, Paid Weekly)
• Permanent position through an evaluation hire FT position with generous benefits and advancement opportunities.
• First and second shift available– Monday through Friday

 

What we look for in a Welder:

• Prefer basic blueprint reading to lay out parts correctly.
• Have at least one year's experience in welding.
• Takes pride in producing high quality work products.
• Experience working with aluminum and other non-ferrous metals is a PLUS.
