Required Skills: 

• Minimum Education: Associate degree – preferably with a concentration in Accounting or proven equivalent knowledge/practice of accounting rules and principles. 

• Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of Experience and track record of success in high-volume corporate Collections. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and QuickBooks. 

• Experience with customer service and CRM software, Sugar or Salesforce a plus. 

 

Functions and Responsibilities: 

• Collect open balances of assigned customers before the lien date. 

• Follow the documented standard collection process. Communicate efficiently and effectively with the customer extensively via phone, email, and letters. 

• Document all calls and collection efforts, notating all information, communication, interaction, and updates in the CRM software. 

• Monitor the Accounts Receivable Aging – Running Aging reports from Quickbooks. 

• Research overdue accounts and investigate any discrepancies. 

• Accept payments via ACH, Credit Cards, and wire transfers. 

• Process third-party checks. 

• Collaborate and communicate with other departments and team members (Production, Admin, Billing) to resolve customer issues impeding payment. 

• Maintain Direct communication with the Management team for any lien decisions. 

• Assist in processing liens and satisfaction of liens when needed. 

• Assist in processing small claim losses against delinquent accounts. 

• Request credit memos.

• Cross-train in various roles to support the Accounting Team. 

• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the supervisor. 

 

Schedule: Weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
