Kennel Technicians

Express Pros is currently seeking Kennel Techs for a local shelter in the Alexandria area. This a FULL Time position. The main job responsibilities for this position are:

 

- Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, bowls, and other related equipment

- Feeding, walking and bathing animals on a daily basis

- Assists veterinarian and other personnel during exams, evaluations and vaccinations

- Assists visitors who are interested in adopting, reclaiming, or impounding animals

- Also supports local Animal Control in performing their duties when needed 

- Moderate to heavy physical exertion in standing, bending and also lifting animals is characteristic

 

This position has great hours and there are opportunities for great benefits! Pay starts at $10/hr

 

Hours are 7.00 am - 11.00am & 3.00 pm - 6.00 pm, Monday - Friday and possibly some weekends.
