Objective:

To support the store manager in achieving the company’s objectives of maximizing sales and controlling expenses.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to store personnel.
  • Assist Store Manager in developing action plans for improved results and personnel development.
  • Provide product feedback and recruitment assistance.
  • Assist in recruitment, selection, promotion, management, and discipline of store associates.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, customer satisfaction, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Manage stock levels, store signage, and product freshness.
  • Observe and coach employee performance.
  • Assist in budget achievement and inventory control.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet operational needs.
  • Proficiency in using store computers and related programs for tasks such as inventory management and order processing.

 

Experience:

  • Prior management in retail or restaurant environment is REQUIRED.

*Assistant Managers are scheduled to work at least 38+ hours a week . Must be flexible with working within the stores opening to closing time. This may also include weekends and holidays. Any candidate must also have the flexibility to work at any store within 20 miles of work location.*

*Must have GED or High School Diploma*
