Tax Preparer- $19-$23/HR

Express Employment is looking for a detail-oriented Tax Preparer.  In this position you will be expected to provide an accurate and complete tax return, using a high degree of ethics and integrity.  You will incorporate effective communication skills with both clients and staff.

 Requirements:

• Knowledge of Tax Law
• Tax preparation and accounting experience including payrolls and state tax reporting.
• Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses.
• Identify potential deductions and credits.
• Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.
• Verify totals on past forms for accuracy.
• Consult tax law handbooks for especially difficult tax returns.
• Resolve customer complaints.
