Salary: up to $60,000 annually

An equipment supplier in Morgantown is currently seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their team.  This person will assist the company’s Buyer with daily purchasing support functions. Compensation for this role will be up to $60,000 annually, based on experience. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with hours of 8am to 5pm.

 

 Duties to Include, But Not Limited To:

  • Responsible for purchase order entry and processing via company system; distributes information to Buyer for decision-making and follow up
  • Works with vendors to resolve daily order issues and discrepancies
  • Performs purchase order expediting to assure timely goods and services delivery and to assure appropriate completed order closing in Answers
  • Coordinates with Accounts Payable to assure purchase order/receiving/invoice discrepancy resolution
  • Assist Buyer with inter-warehouse transfer of goods and document transfer to accurately complete the transaction
  • Assist Sales Department with customer invoicing, filing, and other job responsibilities as identified
  • Maintains order reporting as needed

 

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • High school diploma and minimum of three (3) years of purchasing and inventory experience
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Excel; ability to prepare reports, purchase orders, and correspondence with excellent accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills, highly organized and detail-oriented

·         Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines

·         Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
