Express Employment Professionals (West Carrollton office), South Dayton is seeking hardworking individuals who have previous deburring and/or polishing experience. 1st shift Polisher at a local manufacturer in the South Dayton area.
Responsibilities:
- Selects necessary hand tools to deburr and polish parts within the specified parameters.
- Polish and deburr all required features of customer parts.
- Measure basic features of parts including part dimensions and surface finish.
- Follow company standards and procedures for polishing and deburring parts to specified parameters.
• Qualifications:
•One year experience in all aspects of metal finishing stainless steel, aluminum, some polymers.
• SKILLS:
• Ability to use Hammond hand sander, polishing lathes, and hand tools.
• Expert knowledge of blueprint reading and machinery limitations.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to be team oriented.
• SUMMARY OF POSITION:
• Responsible for all metal finishing processes and ensuring that all required processes are completed to produce parts that meet quality and ISO standards.
• Polishing, deburring, tumble deburring, blasting, in-process cleaning of surgical instruments, implants, and trays.
• Inspect products to blueprint specifications.
• Utilizes and completes documentation as required.
• Understand and follow policy and procedures.
• Ensure general maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
