Salary: $18- $22/hour/per hour

Express Employment Professionals are seeking a highly responsible candidate for preparing and operating a high pressure water jet machine to process and produce quality products in a production environment.   

Responsibilities for Waterjet Operator:

•    Load and unload material and parts from Waterjet machine
•    Operate and program a CNC Waterjet machine
•    Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of product.
•    Report all machine malfunctions to Management.
•    Stage parts for next area of production
•    Visually inspect parts for defects
•    Operate a sit-down forklift
•    Keep area clean and organized.
•    Safely move and handle large, heavy metal sheet, plate and parts using proper equipment
•    Load bags of garnet into hopper
•    Routine maintenance and cleaning of Waterjet machine
•    Ensure production rates are met or exceeded
•    Identifying damages, verifying quantities, report shortages or quality deficiencies of incoming product

Required skills and qualifications for Waterjet Operator:

•    Strong commitment to safety
•    Basic math skills
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent time management and organizational skills
•    Ability to lead others in company expectation, protocol and procedures
•    Ability to work on a team
•    Have a professional attitude 
•    Basic mechanical skills such as reading a tape measure
•    Basic blueprint reading 
•    Basic computer programming
•    Forklift experience
