Signage Lighting and Technology Assembly Technician

Located in Madison Heights, MI

Salary: $18/hr

Our client is seeking a Signage Lighting and Technology assembly technician to join their busy team. Responsibilities in this role include bending and shaping sign parts including CAN lettering and Channel lettersets by machine or hand as needed, and wiring and assembling all types of lighting for signage. If you enjoy working on unique projects, have proven quality of workmanship working with wood, aluminum, and other materials, this is the role for you!

Location: Madison Heights, MI 

Shift: 1st shift 8a -4:30p 

Pay:$18/hr

Position type: Full time, long term, permanent

Qualifications: (An ideal candidate will possess the following)

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in electrical signage, LED lighting and customized CAN lettering with backlit LED lighting
• 2-4 years’ work experience in a skilled trade or shop production environment
• MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER''S LICENSE AND TRANSPORTATION
• Understand basic electrical concepts
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
