Responsibilities:

• Produce metal forms and objects based on provided specifications
• Reconstruct damaged articles made of different metals and alloys
• Utilize hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and clamps for small welding jobs
• Operate a torch to cut metal as necessary
• Follow diagrams or sketches to carry out welding tasks
• Weld and fuse various metals to meet strength requirements without causing distortion
• Regulate welding equipment for optimal performance and safety
• Work in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder with a solid understanding of various welding techniques
• Proficient in reading and interpreting diagrams, sketches, and blueprints
• Ability to handle welding equipment and tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Physical dexterity and stamina to perform welding tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Welding certifications and licenses are a plus, but not required
