CNC Machinist (Mill and Lathe)

Located in York, PA

Salary: $22.00 to $24.00/Hr

Hours: M-F 6am-2:30pm

Dress code: Steel toes required. All other ppe supplied. Shorts, t-shirts are                                       acceptable. Tank tops must have 3in.

Job Description:  Responsible for setup and running of HAAS CNC equipment. Develop new programs for previously outsourced parts. 

Primary Job Duties:

·         Basic programing of production and custom parts

·         Setup and operates a computerized controlled lathe and mill

·         Tool calibration and machine calibration

·         Setup and troubleshoot programs on machining centers

·         Document process changes and corrective action

·         Setup CNC equipment by selecting, installing, indicating and adjusting required work-holding, tools, fixturing, tool holders, attachments, and stops

·         Manual machining as needed

Requirements:

·         AS in Toolmaking or Computer Integrated Machining

·         Setup and troubleshoot programs on machining centers

·         Able to consistently lift 50lbs

·         Use precision measuring instruments to setup machines

·         Program CNC mill and lathe using G-Code

·         Ability to make decisions (process, tooling, program modifications, etc.)

·         Prior Operation of HAAS CNC equipment a plus
