Job Description: HVAC Technician

 

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC systems and components, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

• Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and related components, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. This includes cleaning coils, lubricating parts, and replacing filters as necessary.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical issues, refrigerant leaks, and component failures.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems and proactively address them.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, service reports, and parts inventory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in HVAC systems is required.
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician, including installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, components, and systems.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand, kneel, and climb ladders as required in the HVAC environment.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3:30 PM
